We’re excited to announce the appointment of Molly Waring-Moore, joining the team at Makermet in the brand new role of Digital Marketing Executive.
A graduate of Nottingham Trent University’s popular and well-respected Fashion Communication and Promotion BA course, Molly impressed us with her keen eye for design, research driven approach and rapid development of great relationships with our clients during her twelve-week internship.
Now, as a full time member of the team, Molly will be helping us and our clients to…
"Our insistence on properly exploring client’s audiences to develop stronger brands, better user experiences and websites people love is helped by Molly’s fresh and research-led approach. After five years of blurring the line between creative and marketing agency, we’re excited about officially supporting our clients with digital marketing campaigns." - Alex Traska, Director
Since December last year, Molly has been exploring ways of extending our existing range of brand consultancy, design and development services. Her experience of brand and social media analysis has improved our understanding of client’s target markets and gave us the ability to support client’s brands, websites and marketing goals following the launch of our projects.
In addition to supporting the team with design and artworking, Molly is already working directly with Pebble Magazine on social media and email marketing strategy, and the management of budgets for social media and PPC marketing campaigns for Italian ski trips for school’s client, SAJOBE. It’s a busy start indeed!
Molly said of her role, "When I left uni I hadn't made specific plans for a particular career path. When I started my internship at Makermet I was given responsibilities that I didn't even know I'd enjoy, especially working directly with clients. The longer I spent in the studio the more it felt like the right place for me to be. I'm excited to be able to take on bigger marketing projects with Makermet and make a positive impact on brands."
Via Nottingham Trent University’s student employability and enterprise programme, Makermet were matched with Molly for one of two internship positions in the role of junior designer and artworker.
The part-funded programme supported by Santander helped us take a sustainable approach to growing the in-house team. Now in a full-time role, the ERDF-funded Enabling Innovation program supports Molly’s first year of employment at Makermet.
